These images were from Mai's first trip to the Changing Lands.

Strange flying things swooped at Mai, and she ended up flying to the top of some very odd "mountains":

In a cave there she met a threatening being, but overcame it. Like most things in the Changing Lands, the below was but one of many appearances it took during their encounter:

Deeper in the caves, Mai found mushroom people at some sort of party or ritual, who were then lining up to push each other into a smashy-crushy machine:

As Mai fled this scene, she saw something huge and ominous off in the distance:

Frightened, Mai found that she could simply will herself to return home.
