A large unexplored region of space due to it being enveloped in the mirror nebula. Hyperdrive into that nebula sends you out elsewhere, and sublight through it damages ships. The full size of the expanse is large and at least seven star systems exist within it, at least that have been detected from [[New Alderaan]].
